Exclusivity

This is the contractual obligation by which the franchisee undertakes to devote its professional activity exclusively to the operation of the point of sale, which is the subject of the franchise agreement.

Such a provision must be drafted with great care and must in particular specify whether the prohibition is limited to activities competing with those carried out within the network or whether it covers all other activities, whether or not they are competing.
