Federation (FFF)

The FFF is an organization that has  a mission to represent, promote and defend the interests of the actors of franchise networks and this, with the various actors of economic and political life. It also aims to comply with the rules laid down by the European Franchise Code.

The FFF, created in 1971, currently represents more than 120 networks or 40% of French Franchisees.

It has four important services:

  • the training department, which directs and conducts training seminars for franchise candidates, Franchisor candidates and franchise professionals;
  • the export department, which helps and informs retailers wishing to set up abroad;
  • the research department, which conducts research on the various aspects and components of the franchise;
  • the legal department, which follows the evolution of the texts that concern or may concern the franchise. The legal department is available to FFF members.

In 1972, she drafted the first Code of Ethics and participated in the establishment of the European Franchise Regulation, including the European Code of Ethics.

It has created a college of experts, which brings together personalities involved in franchising, whose competence is recognized. Mr. Jean-Baptiste Gouache, associate lawyer who created Gouache Avocats, is a member of the panel of experts of the French Franchise Federation.

The FFF is a privileged partner of the passport competition for the franchise, the competition to become a franchisor, supporting the franchise development of the winner.
