Corner
Franchise
The franchise corner is a franchise concept intended to be implemented within another business.
The implementation of this space and the products and services offered to customers are defined contractually.
The rights and obligations of the parties are watered down from the usual franchises of services or products. First, the brand can only be used by the franchisee in a very limited way in space: on their counter. On the other hand, by necessity, the know-how communicated and the assistance provided by the franchisor are restricted, sincethey relate only to the activity of the counter. Finally, the franchisee is generally not required to pay an entry fee, and its royalties are less important (see D. Ferrier, Selective distribution: two alternatives: JCP E 1993, Cah. dr. entr., 1993, No. 1, p. 6 ff., especially p. 9). Nevertheless, the respective obligations of both parties are those, for the rest, of all franchising contracts, so it seems unnecessary to list them here.
